After 8 years volunteering with the BC SPCA, I am so happy to have joined the Victoria branch as the Animal Centre Manager in December of 2021. We are an extremely busy branch, with new animals and challenges daily, but with our amazing staff and volunteers we are able to do such amazing work and save lives every single day.
The BC SPCA helps bring love and hope to injured, homeless, neglected and abused animals in B.C. like our BC SPCA alums Oliver, Lula and our newest foster Sadie. In only 5 months, I have seen 215 animal adoptions, over 300 animals come into care, with 102 currently in care. From love birds, to snakes, gerbils, rabbits, cats and dogs, our branch does it all!
Not only do we help animals find their forever homes, but we help out in the community! With low income spay and neuter programming, our pet food bank we are able to keep families together and our expand our reach to animals outside of our care.
Please consider supporting me in my Lock-In for Love fundraiser for the BC SPCA. Whatever amount you are comfortable with, having you by my side in this effort means so so much.
Last year compassionate people like us enabled the BC SPCA to help more than 118,000 animals. I know that together we can do even more! By coming together to fund rescue, shelter, medical care and more, we can bring joy to those animals who need it most.
