Love them furry friends!

Animals can't speak for themselves. Except for that Wonderful Mr Ed. And maybe Kermit too, but it's not easy being green, and it's not easy standing up for yourself when you have no voice.
This year I'm taking part in the BC SPCA's Lock-In for Love to help those animals that can't help themselves. In our busy lives, our furry friends are always just waiting at home for you, because you're their life. You're their world. And the amount of love they show is more than anyone could imagine. I think it would be wonderful for all the vulnerable animals to feel a fraction of that love in return.
I'm not only being locked in for the vulnerable animals in our community, but also for my soul dog, Baker. We lost him in early April, and the hole he left in our lives in unimaginable. These furry little friends have such a strong bond with us, I imagine it would be so lonely to not have that bond, that connection in their lives.
Together we can move one step closer to a world where animals never have to suffer hunger or fear, cold or pain. Your caring support today will provide rescue, warm shelter, nourishing food and healing medical care to animals in B.C. who are desperately waiting for help at this very moment.
Whatever amount you are comfortable with donating, I'd love for you to take part and help out those that can't help themselves.
