Caring people like you and I make it possible for animals to be given a second chance by the BC SPCA's compassionate teams. A chance to love and be loved, to sleep peacefully, play, get up to mischief and trust that they will never have to suffer again. I'm participating in the BC SPCAs Lock-In for Love to give more animals that opportunity. But I need your help to change lives!
Right now, there are so many animals out there suffering, whether from abuse, neglect, or injury and it breaks my heart. No animal should have to go through that. So, I' m raising funds for the BC SPCA to help get them the love, safety, and care they deserve.
You know Bear, right? She's the best little pup we could've asked for, and I'm so grateful every single day that she found her way to us. But it makes me wonder, what if she hadn't? That's why I'm doing this: for all the animals who are still waiting for their people. I can't adopt them all (though, trust me, I would if I could!), so I want to do what I can to help them get the care they need while they wait for their forever homes.
Bear was lucky - she was just a tiny 10-week-old puppy when she found us. But there are so many animals out there who've been stuck in shelters for months (or even years), just hoping for a second chance. Thankfully, the BC SPCA does everything they can to make sure these animals get not only homes but also the medical care they need. But none of that comes cheap, which is why I'm raising funds to help out.
